Default Installed my A/V Headunit today!!!

With a lot of research and combing through the forum for diagrams I finally figured everything out.

I used the cheap Toyota 87-Up wiring harness and just removed all the pins from the connectors. With the wiring diagrams that I found I was able to basically re-wire everything up on both ends to the corresponding leads from the car. In the end everything came out perfect and just clipped right in.

I had to unplug the factory amp to get some leads, I knew I was not using it so I bought a cheap 200w amp and wired that up to the stock sub. It actually gave it a little more bang.

I really did not want that "double din installation kit" different color look. I really didn't want to spend that 75.00 for the JDM kit. I was thinking of painting everything. So I went down to the local auto parts store and picked up a can of Dupli-color Perfect match paint- Toyota Grey. Which is actually very close to the lexus console color.

I removed the climate faceplate and paint that, the installation kit and the ash tray all the same color. I am very impressed with how it came out. I took a quick picture on my phone, I will take some nice ones sometime soon.

let me know what you think, and please ask my any questions if need help on installing this stuff. I am here to assist.

Yah man, the prices have have come down soooo much. I used some long deserved bonus points from my credit card and ended up score that deck for $97.77

Whole Job with amp was ~$150 (plus the 6hrs of my labor lol)
