Story: I bought the car for $500 off someone in the military who was being transferred to Japan, it was in an accident. The passenger side looked like it hit a guard rail, there was damage on the passenger side rear quarter panel and on the door and A pillar. It took me about a year and a half just to do the Bondo work my self while managing school and what not, it came out decent, it definitely isnt as good looking as a shop but good for what I spent! Overall I have about 2500 into the car as I did all the work my self and bought from rock auto.
1999 GS300 with 234k miles. Replaced a few parts over the years and still runs solid. Have had the car for 11+ years now. 1 of 2 cars I have ever owned over 17 years. I need something new

Beautiful car, I say keep her and get something new.
Post more pics of the rear would like to see more angles of the spoiler.
253,000. Other than tune ups, oil changes, regular maintenance and suspension work I haven't had to do anything to it. Getting it's third timing belt along with full tune up next week.
My Lexi 2000 GS 300 has 222,000 miles, needs suspension work. Best car I ever owned. I love it. Riding strong and very reliable. I wouldn't change my GS for anything else. 😉

didn’t know people were still using the DISGUSTING hid kits in halogen housing! Yeah just blind everyone on the damn road....smdh.
That statement doesn’t negate the FACT that your set up is dumpster juice, garbage, horrible, etc. I mean really, who’s using hid halogen kits in 2019 when you could do retrofits for little to nothing now? You can’t even look at your garbage China kit photo without squinting your eyes....but hey you “look” cool huh? This is my last response...no one on this site agrees with your cheap set up...I feel badly for your GS.
Dude. Shut up!!! Both of you are losers, haters. Theres plenty of GS out there like mines using halogen HIDs. Look it up. You guys are garbage and talk garbage out your mouth. If you dont like the pic or my lights keep it to yourself.
Ok, just curious how many people have actual miles on their GS3/GS4. Some say that they can go 300k miles easily. But if that is the case, how many have made it there?
Mine 98 GS4 is only at 140,500 miles. I bought mine at 138800 miles or so.
My 94 Cadillac Fleetwood made it to 250k EASILY. My 90 Aerostar Van made it to 275k (given to us, already on 3rd trans.... but engine was solid and strong, body was GONE), my 91 Pontiac Bonneville went 270k before we gave it away, again, easily, not a single major problem, original trans and engine and drive axles. Never even popped a valve cover.
285k on my 99 GS400 I'm the original owner still strong.. but the suspension may be the end of her..
Wow, original engine and tranny? That’s impressive. If it wasn’t for the horrible suspension design of this car I could keep it forever. That’s the only flaw with this car, a weak suspension. I’m sure the LS is better in that regard.
