yea, Tow bill 150, ball joint 105, tie rod 65, plus missing 8 hours of work.

Well sucks to see the damage and loss of wages. Glad your ok though which is priority. I cant stand those LBJs such a scary design. In pics like these I appreciate my honda LBJs a bit more. Going to make sure these parts are changed before my baby hits the streets.

Wow, makes me think about putting in a safety cable to keep a BJ failure from letting it hit the fender!

Owch, glad you are all ok. GR is my hometown. Have lots of family around there.

its not JUST the LBJ as i have never broken my LBJ but if you break a outer tie rod like i did, it can/will hit the fender also. luckily my fender damage is minimal and im content with it till i modify my fenders for wider rim clearance. hell you cant even see the damage due to lighting but i can assure you its there

Safety cable would help that too. Have to look how, but it could wrap around the tie rod arm and connect to the tie rod bolt and then the other end to somewhere else. If it broke, it would go massively out of alignment, but it wouldn't lead to catastrophic failure of the tie hitting the fender.
