GS4 for sure! I get 19 city / 22 hwy. That is better than my buddy gets in his GS3.

*The GS4 has 300hp vs GS3 225hp.
*The GS4 does 0-60 in 5.7 vs GS3 in 7.6.
*The GS4 does the skidpad at .87g vs GS3 at .80g. ('99 GS4 at .90g)
*The GS4 does the slalom at 66.9 mph vs GS3 at 60.9 mph.

Cam problems!? Because the 300 does'nt have cam problems!? 400/430 FTW! That's the beauty about our cars, you can't go wrong with either!

400 / 430 all the way. I know a lot of people with the 300. They get into mine, and right away say they should have gotten the V8. No question about it. If you plan on dumping a **** ton into making it go faster, you might want to go with the 300. But if you want to keep it civil, get the V8 and tare up 90% of the cars that go up against you.

My brother had an I30t. He raced my bud in the 300 about 15 times and walked the 300 all the time. Raced me, I walked the I30 as if it was some 4 cyl civic. My friend cried, till he sold it and got the 430.

What I'm surprised of is how does a topic like this even get two pages...This is subjective!

Its only subjective if you have a 300. I had a 430, never thought, hmm, should I get a 300 instead. Nope. Everyone I know with a 300, always said that they should have went with the V8. Price is different though.

Yeah, I never drove the V8 option, but my 300 is quick enough. I did notice the difference when I left my Q45, but I would gladly trade it with the gas that I'm saving.

Do you really get 19 city in your gs400? I surely don't. I'm lucky if I get 13. Then again I do have a heavy right foot.

lately i been debating the same thing. test drove both. i like the v8 more. the heavy body of gs need the v8, the I6 is not enough, so slow. the i6 belong in the is300.

Ok i have the best of both world I have a boosted gs300 and a stock gs430. For the V8 guys the 4 series period is the way togo if you want clean quited power or with some mods the roar of a lexus V8. If you are guided towards boost the the gs300 would be a better power plant for boost but I have some friends with twin turbo gs400 and they are off the scale. I love the 2jz but the v8 boosted holly @#$%. Wow So for heaven sakes both car are worth the money but stock the V8 win all day....
