Default Quick Update - Can't believe it has been almost 14 years

Just wanted to post a quick update to the car. I bought this in Jan 98 and through a number of ups and downs , I still have this car. It has been several years since my last update and although I was hoping for a different kind of update , I still love this car and continue to tweak it here and there.

I still DD this car so it is not as modded out as many others. Even out where I am, I still get plenty of positive comments. I won't bother listing all the parts that are on here as it has been documented (somewhere) on CL. I'll just mention what has changed (all cosmetic):

iForged Techniks -> Trafficstar STMs
L-Tuned SideSkirts -> Veilside Exec SideSkirts
Added Veilside Exec Rear Bumper
Tom's Side Mirror Covers -> Full Mirror Covers
SportDesign Grille -> TTE Grille

I am now at the point of many older, existing owners trying to decide to continue to play with this car (add more $ to it) or call it quits and just enjoy it (or sell it). I still have a number of parts (body, electronics, performance) sitting in storage waiting for me to decide. Anyway, I did not have time to go somewhere nice for a shoot but I just got done washing and waxing the car so at least it's clean. Enjoy.

If there is no major issues with her, just keep her.. I assume its Paid off, so just enjoy her until death do one of you part.. LOL -- i'm in the same position as you with my '99 GS400 which I owned since Jan of 1999 and i'm planning to keep her until the wheels fall off and then restore her and drive another 20 years! (when you love a car this much, its Sick!)

Yes, the car has been paid off long ago. It costs me gas, reg, insurance, and maintenance. Part of my issue is that I have 1 car (SUV) dedicated for work mileage when I see clients (which is not all the time), and 2 cars that are for personal DD/Weekend use. There are many days when I ask myself, "Why do you have/need 3 cars?" (There is a convoluted story why I got to this position in the first place, but that is for another day. ) Both the other two are newer than the GS. Anyway, I go through this thought process every once in a while. Until I decide, I guess this is the status quo. I am not complaining, mind you.
