and I love it! I have two general questions though. My friend says I need to change the timing belt on these cars, but I don't have any service records on it. Does anyone know how to know by looking if it's been replaced or not? Also how m uch is this job at the mechanic, like $700?
Also everything on my car works great, tested everything tonight when I drove it home, but I noticed when I filled my car up tonight, the fuel gauge only read 3/4 full. What could that be?

No it isn't. Look at the book value of the car...he got it for a good price if it's in great condition. Plus he is located in OK, where there isn't a lot of them running around like a FL or especially a Cali region where they are a dime a dozen. Granted in Cali, he could've gotten the same car for around $8k, but hey that Cali, not OK.

gas guage 3/4 reading.
Had the same situation after fuel pump replaced by Firestone, pull the fuel pump assembly and look at the circuit board that the float arm attaches to. See if there is a scratch (shiny metal) on it. Pull up on the rear bottom seat, there you will find the access panel to the fuel pump assembly. Pretty easy to get too. a fun DIY. Just be sure to be careful around the gas. There are a couple of DIY threads out there. Use the search and Congrats on a fun car.
