The display on my head unit is getting darker as the weather gets colder. Anybody else had this problem? I had a similar problem with the temperature display on my 94 LS but was able to buy a replacement lcd to fix it.

Did you ever solve your problem? I have the same problem but it is worse, to the point the whole lcd is washed out and nothing is readable. Were you able to replace the lcd or did you buy a new unit? I'm looking for my options
