Default New GS300 Owner - rotor issues?

Picked up my first Lexus a few weeks ago. Bought an '04 GS300 with 52,800 miles and in great shape. Few initial thoughts. Tremendous commuting car, which is why I bought (6 spd. M3 is no fun in traffic). Love the car, but 2 minor reservations. First, it's metallic gold which I don't exactly love. Second, there is an odd sort of numbness to the ride. Could also describe it as a very faint, sort of hollow feeling. Could it be signs of fading rotors (or I'm imagining things!). Thanks all.

Default Rotors

If by numbness you're referring to the feel of the brake pedal, that's probably due to the hydraulic booster system used. I find it a bit inconsistent compared to a good vacuum boosted system.
Congrats on the new ride, and welcome.

Thanks for the reply. But it really is an overall sense - but again, very faint! Maybe I'm just not use to such a smooth ride!
