Default GS300 oil temp gauge going up

i dont know if u guys have gotten the same problem before but when i really drive my car foot to the floor for sometimes the temp guage starts going past half way but it wouldnt go past the highest quarter mark - well it never has .....has anyone had this happen to them?

ive never seen an oil temp gauge on our cars.. unless its aftermarket.. n if its aftermarket 95% of ppl here will not have one.

If youre talkin about the temp gauge than u might have a problem..

Check your thermostat and coolant level.

That is the coolant temp gauge. AND it sounds like you are getting the motor too hot.

Check your cooling system!!

Something must be wrong. I have driven my car hard in hot weather and the coolant temp gauge didn't even move.

Well my gs300 has never did this before it started to do it this past summer ....I cleaned the front of the radiator fan n everything ...

When is the last time your changed the engine coolant? You may have a stuck thermostat or other cooling system issue.

Havnt changed the coolant in about a year
