Default Is the 4th Gen GS tempting you?

Guys we recently purchased a CT200h to replace the Infiniti FX, this is my 1st brand new Lexus and 1st time dealing with Lexus Service & sales. The experience was the best car purchase I've ever had in my 10yrs+ of owning cars. I enjoyed the process so much that I'm checking out the 2013 GS-F Sport. It's tempting and seems like a worthy successor to our 2nd Gen GS. Is anyone else tempted to sell/trade their 2nd Gen for the 2013 GS?

I am NEVER selling my 2GS but I have thought about getting a 4GS but I decided that I'll wait for a powertrain upgrade because I'm not happy with the engine/tranny carry over. I'm getting a S Class next month so the GS will have to wait.

I am not buying any cars newer than my 2007 Infiniti QX56. Plus I do all of the service/repairs on my cars. I have never sent my cars to a mechanic but new cars you almost have to. They add too much crap that is only meant to break so you can spend more money. These newer cars don't last

You couldn't give me a Crapillac, those new CTSV's are so dam ugly. Well you could but I would be selling it. No reason for a spoiler because the trunk is so damn high. The front and rear come to a point in the center, not to mention the dual center exhaust.
There is a guy in my building that has a dark grey CTS-V with huge metal flakes w/ yellow brake calipers. Thing is hideous

Over priced Chevy!!! F*^% Government Motors!!!

4GS, ugly, not because i cant afford it, but i feel bad for those whom buy it. Hyunday and Kia are even stepping it up. Not a fan of the look what-so-ever.

The yellow brake calipers i believe are standard on the new CTS. Ive seen numerous ones round town

I actually like the way it looks its just the lack of power that turns me away.

I have said this on the 4GS forums, but I will say it again. I think Lexus is starting to take their design (or over design) cues from Acura and make everything too angular. Every time I see that front grill I see the Predator (from the movie) face. Angular and awkward to me. I have owned my GS300 since new in 2000, but I think the LS460 will be the next car for me.

I agree on the power and transmissions being carry overs don't understand why they didn't give it an 8 speed and I'd hate to buy a 2013 only to find out that the 2014 or 15 gets more HP. Nice to see that 2nd Gen owners are very loyal to the 2nd Gen!
