After washing my car thanksgiving morning on my way to dinner my car makes this loud whinnying noise constantly followed by the ABS/VSC/VSC OFF AND BRAKE LIGHT all came on. When I try to drive the car there is no brakes at all and all fluids are good and no broken brake lines. I thought Lexus fixed the Master cylinder issue in 2000 but mine is a 2002 with 157k miles. Could it be anything else except for the Master cylinder which we know cost 2 arms n a leg
Help anyone?!!!

I had the same problem with my brakes on my sc400. First time it happen. I thought the master cylinder went out. I replace it twice and bleed the brakes still nothing. Took it shop and told me, the brake booster is going out. They replace that and it work fine. Just recently my brakes went out again. I check fluid level, that was fine. Look underneath there's a slow leak coming from the front brake caliper cable. Replace both and it was good to go. So it could be your brake booster or caliper cables. Or just a bad master cylinder.. I'm going with that or could be something different. Hows the brake pedal feel? Does it go straight to the floor?

The brake pedal has a little tension in it but doesn't stop the car...I checked my brake lines n it's good...the fluid level is still high also...I ran up on one for 200 which the guy says is good so I'm praying when it gets here it works bec the stealership wants $1700....
