Angry vvti problem need some help guys

It is a long story so i hope some one can help. The car is a 2000 GS300 it threw a code of vvti malfuction i replace the vvti oil control sensor and a new oil control valve filter. Then i reset the light and it has not come back on for 70 miles and still is not on. But the car is still running bad what it is doing is missing under 3500 RPM it cleans up and runs good up high. Other things i have done are replace spark pulgs and air filter. any ideas would be really helpful. once aging the service light is still not on.

thanks Josh

Hey sorry to hear about your miss fortune but since you have already did the obvious the next is to buy some seafoam and add it to the oil and run the engine at 1200 to 1500 rpms steady for about no more than 5 to 8 minutes. where the oil screen is located there still could be some sludge which is not allow the camshaft actuator to adjust properly at lower rpm.

I hope this helps!!!!

No remove your oil cap, pour it in through the valve cover, use the stated amount per instructions on the bottle, and do like jaymil31 says to do. Viola! I hope it works out for you.........Oh after its all said and done dont forget to change your oil.

Ok guys the seafoam did not do the trick. I am pulling my hire out but a new code is showing up bank 1 and 2 is lean. and all so for got to tell that the VSC, VSC OFF, and ABS lights were on did not think that could have anything to do with it. I ran my scan tool on it and says a sensor was out some were in the front.
what do you all think

If you are getting both banks lean, clean the MAF sensor and replace the air filter and clear the code and go from there
