Pioneer AVH-2300DVD in dash video reciever
Hello everybody happy holidays I just wanted to know which in dash video reciever is compatiable with the lexus 1998 gs400 I been trying to find a list of compattibility but could not find one if you have any suggestions or ideas or if you have one let me know. I have been eyeing the Pioneer AVH-2300DVD it has everything i need but dont want to get the worng one get back to me.

He's probably talking about the wiring.
I believe there is always some rewiring involved when fitting an aftermarket head-unit in the GS. You will need an ISO wiringloom.
As for the format, any double DIN will fit. (you will need the double din kit)

I have this in my 99 gs. Its a nice unit for the money I got mine for 89.99 after my amazon rewards (normally 200ish on amazon)
I used the Metra double din kit and wiring harness for it. Its a great unit if you do not need nav or anything like that. I wish the screen was a tad bigger for movies but it does the job. Plays divx and anything I download. No MKV support but thats what my normal tv is for.
He is a picture of my install. ( i had to file down a little bit of the side to make it line up nice. Nothing to major. this is before the filing)
