4.14 sec 0-60 GS430!!!!
Had to make a new thread for this video.
This is on oem 17" wheels (and I need new tires).
Just in case anyone doesn't know, these are my mods
RMM supercharger
ppe headers
high flow cats
2.5" piping,
tanabe medallion touring,
2800 torque converter
First attempt I just spun and the car started going sideways so I aborted and tried again.
Broken down on a movie editing program.
0=15.15 seconds 60=19.29 seconds
19.29-15.15=4.14 seconds!!!
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9wFEteCpjW4
Here's Another run (this was actually my first run) With traction control on (forgot to turn it off) and you can even see the traction control light flashing during the 1st to 2nd gear shift!!
0=3.96 seconds 60=8.71 seconds
8.71-3.96=4.75 seconds
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ybD9Rsj87GM
I am starting the count when the needle is completely planted on the 0mph mark and when it is completely planted on the 60mph mark. Not just when its barely touching either of them.
Enjoy!!!

Anyway yes I still have open diff
Guess I'm gonna have to start using my gtech pro (if I can find the suction cup thingy)
Also my best 0-60 on stock wheels (when tires were way newer) and all I had was 2800 stall converter and exhaust was 0-60 in 5.4seconds. I'm sure everything else I've added would put me well into the mid to low 4 second range.

I've never noticed a difference between either of my gps units and my speedometer. Plus why wouldn't the speedometers just be calibrated to make up for that difference? Can't see why that would be so hard to do. So every time a cop uses a radar gun there is a 3mph difference between what his radar gun shows and what a speedometer shows(at least at 60)?? I'm gonna have to look into this more. Because right now I don't see why it would be designed/setup like that.

Basically yes. It gives the driver a margin of error. The speedo can indicate less than the real speed, but never more.
My speedo has a 15km/h difference at top speed (240km/h on the GPS vs 255km/h on the speedo), at lower speeds it's about 5km/h.
Also I have noticed a bigger gap (speedo vs GPS) with my 235/45 17 tires than with my previous 225/55 16s.
