#2
I have had a remote start on a couple of my cars and I love it!!! You never have to get into a cold of hot car again. I plan on getting a 2way with remote start for my GS3 and my wifes QX56 after the holidays. Def worth every cent!!!

OP, I believe there's a lot of people on the forum with it. I'm also currently in the market for one and I believe its worth it. Esepcially in an area like yours where it gets very cold at this time of the year. U won't have to worry about waiting for the car to warm up if your late for anything. Just wake up, press the button, do ur business, out the door and on the road lol.
Btw, don't mean to thread jack or anything, but what's a good brand to go with for the remote start?

ur gonna need a Transponder bypass, the remote start unit of your choice either separate or tie into OEM key.
these units can be plug and play with T-harnes but If you have to ask and your skill level is Low, i would recommend you take it to a alarm installer and watch if you wish to duplicate the install on another car later on.
Messing with with the electrics if you dont know what you are doing will result in headaches.

the best remote start i have seen for our cars was made by luxlink. It works through the oem key fob. Just push the lock button 3 times and bam, its on. also works great with luxlink's sens'o'shock. Which incorporates a shock sensor into the stock alarm. Basically makes your oem alarm work like an aftermarket one, just without the extra alarm fob on your key chain. Also install is fairly straight forward. Took me about an hour to an hour and a half. Too bad it's discontinued...... But I will be selling mine soon....most likely.
