@850Lexus - A platinum series GS300 comes with HID headlights, Silver exterior/Black interior, Black pearl emblems, "Platinum series" badge on the fender, it says "platinum" on the floor mats, Chrome wheels instead of alloy wheels, and if I'm missing something else somebody fill me in, thanks.

Change them now, especially since you have the 98-2k ball joints on your car. Look at the sticky in the suspension section and I'm sure you will be changing them ASAP. They came out with a "revised" version in 01-02 that supposed to correct the problem but I don't think that has never been confirmed from any Lexus TSB. If so, someone please post the link.
