Hey guys, I am from 3GS.
I just got a 2000 gs400 17inch rims, i believe they are 17 x 8.
I know the factory size is 235 45 17, but i am wondering if anyone is running different set up for some reason? What would be the most ideal set up? factory? Some people say 225 50 17.
I would like to hear from 2GS people.
Thanks!

I know factory is perfect size but was just wondering for some reason if anyone's running different set up.
Also I did post on 3GS too and got some feedback, but just wanted to hear from 2gs people. that's all.
Yes I got gs400 17 inch rims for my 3GS for winter set up.

The most ideal set up would be factory since it keeps the speedo accurate. However, I think there are a few people on this board who were running a slightly bigger tire (235 50-55) so that they could absorb large bumps and pot holes. I know sometimes I wish my sidewalls were thicker when I hit pot holes.
