Looking for a good body shop in NYC area, preferably Queens
I posted this in the Lexus Lobby forum but I only got one PM about it so I figured I'd post it in the most active forum.
I just got quote a price of about $600 from Lexus of Manhattan to simply repaint my rear bumper because some jerk had to scrape off the paint when he pulled out of his parking spot. Anyway, I'm looking for a good body shop since I know the dealers always over charge for body work. If anybody has any recommendations let me know.
So far I'm going to check out the following.
Premier Auto Refinishing (used by Lexus of Massapequa)
H&R Auto Repair (in Elmont, Long Island)
Excel Auto Repair (in Jamaica)

There is a guy right next to Action Tire in Lodi, NJ who does superb work.
This is for Action tire. The guys is just to the left of them. His shop is not fancy, but everyone knows he does a great job.
