I have done between 135-140 two times. In the early south dakota morning, a little scary though due to the deer around. Things sure do move fast at that speed, but the GS4 was smooth as silk and felt like it wanted to go faster..

You are lucky if you did not get arrested. Down here in FL, if the cops catch you doing over 100MPH, they are likely to take you straight to jail.

I got pulled over once by a bunch of FHP cars, they said they clocked me at 147MPH. It's the only time I have ever been arrested. Luckily, they did not get my friend in the supercharged corvette. I was then able to get off on the racing on the highway charges and they also returned my car. It's a criminal offense in Florida which carries jail term and they also seize your car if you are convicted.

I have had a couple of races topping 160MPH in my GS. Me and a couple of guys with high horsepower cars usually get together on Fridays for some fun runs at a secure spot. I will check with one of the guys to get a video of my lexus taking out a Porsche 911 twin turbo at over 150 MPH. My car is a GS300 with a 2JZ GTE swap, suspension upgrades and other goodies.

Where in Florida? We have a couple of "spots" or what we like to call "local unsanctioned tracks" here in the Tampa area...

I Did 120 the day I bought my car coming back from the bank... a little scary with the stock suspension though... felt like floating on a magic carpet... now anything over 100 feels very stable... which is not too good since I do 100MPH at least once every 2 weeks on some of our local freeways.

Yeah, here in Florida if you get caught "racing" (a good lawyer should be able to get you off though) you can lose your license, your vehicle can be impounded and auctioned off, and I believe jail time or fines... the exact law is pretty nasty although what constitutes racing is left too open I believe.

Ive been 120ish in my GS... but i dont really race it... Because it fails in comparison to my last car I did 174mph, measured via laptop GPS, in my 99 Camaro SS... ive done similar on my sportbikes before i sold them.. I love my GS4, but nothing compares to the speed ive already experienced, so i keep it tame.
