99 GS 300 Fog light question
Ok guys i tried searching and either was typing the wrong words or something as i wasn't finding anything, So im sorry if this has been discussed.
I have a 99 gs 300, My fog lights have i beleive 3000k (yellow) hid's in them. They have been working great for the year that i have owned the car. I noticed the other day that the drivers side light was out. So i just tuned them off and thought that i needed a new bulb. Today i turned them on and i could tell it was still out. I stopped at wal-mart and noticed that it was on. I left wal-mart and it was out again, when i got home and shut off car in the garge i noticed it was back on. cunfused i started the car and within couple seconds it went out. shut car off and it comes back on. I am confused what this could be. Thank you.

If they are hids and one is coming on with the car off then previous owner may have done something wacky with the harness/relay hookup for the ballasts.
If it was just working sometimes and not others it is just a ballast going bad, but that wouldn't make it stay on with the car off, that has to be wiring or relay related.
