Default whats value of my car in USA. pics inside

hi guys

i am trying to sell my car in UK / Scotland and absolutely struggling to sell it.

i was just wondering if i was to sell this car in USA how much money will i get for my car.

just curious

here is advert:

GS430 Replica car is actually GS300

£1995 ONO works out about $3100 US Dollars

Swaps and part exchange welcome please let me know what you got ?

Year: 1998
Mileage: 144k
Tax 6 Months
MOT 1 Year
Location: Edinburgh

MODIFICATION / CHANGES I HAVE MADE SO FAR

* yellow fog light bulbs
* 8000k HID Low Beam kit
* white clear side repeaters
* Blue xenon side lights and full beam bulbs
* Roof Lip Spoiler and front grill chromed
* gold plated front and rear badges
* rear tail lights changed new style from 2001 onwards model
* front LED side lights
* custom exhaust system stainless steel with 4" tail pipes sounds great grumbles roars. Not silly loud like you see on corsa's saxo's
* 18" mint rota alloy wheels with chrome deep dish and new tyres
* Front and rear callipers painted silver with lexus logo / decal
* Tinted windows

.
Car drives like new car and no major mechanical or electric issues at all.

i bought it 3 years ago totally standard and have spent lots of money on it and lots of TLC.

service book is stamped upto 120k miles. last service was done at my local garage so i am afraid no stamp for that one. 11 stamps in book by lexus, bmw and lexus specialists.

i have all paper work here. lexus manual leather wallet radio manual etc and i have 3 keys for it.

BAD POINTS

driver side door doesn't lock with remote key, but locks ok with key. all other doors are fine. i guess some thing to do with motor. some thing which never bothered me. i was going to get it fixed but it didn't bother me as such so not in rush to get it fixed.
few minor tiny scratches here and there and very tiny minor dings here and there which you expect from second hand car due to daily usage etc. ( just being very picky here )
these all are minor issues and nothing serious at all. i just want to be very honest with you before you make your mind up and come all the way.
i cant really think of any other problems.
if there is any thing else you would like to know please let me know.

exhaust sound

looks great,
if you are just curious, you can use Edmunds.com appraiser to get a pretty good look of the market value of an equivilant US car.
Note that all the extras you did don't count for very much value, but the problems you have will count against the value.
I find the edmunds appraisals to be fair.

However, in reality purposes, due to import/customs fees; and as well as this car is not US specification,
I am not even sure you will find a buyer in the US without having a negative value (if this is even legally possible at all).

If you mean it has 144k as in kilometers then that's only 89,000 miles which very low for the model year, and would improve the value here. Black on Black combo, 89k miles, clean in and out would bring $5,000usd here easy. Although the cloth interior is hard to gauge since here they will be leather.

I'm confused as well by what 430 replica means? Just stuck an emblem on the back? Unless it has the Engine to go with it, then it's means nothing..

It is a nice looking clean car you've got, I would think you'd have no problems selling it locally.. Good Luck!

I see you didn't mean actually selling your car in the US, but if you were the car has no real value if shipped to the US anyway, there are plenty of them here to get cheap. Sure it's RHD which some people would like to have here for cool factor but it's not an aristo and still has the same slow na engine the usa already has. If someone is buying a grey-market rhd and bringing it here then a real turbo rhd aristo is super easy buy and bring over here for relatively cheap, but you have to vin swap it with a totaled gs and chance getting busted and permanently impounded if you ever get caught. If one were to risk it a vin swap registration, might as well risk it on a real deal aristo.

wow wow 99GS3 i have no plans of doin any thing dodgy like that in UK we use miles so every thing is in miles.

car has 144k miles not KMH. replica means car is GS430 look alike. badge and lights are from GS430 model.

any way its just badge which can come of in 1 second.

looks like value is preety much same. people dont touch big cars here in UK due to high insurance and fuel etc.

fuel is £1.40 per liter here in UK which is about $2.20 per liter

put it this way i think i am the only Modified GS owner in whole city and i guess all together there are about 2-3 GS in city which i hardly see.

It all comes down to demand.

Firstly, personally, I'd say to ditch the 430 emblems unless you're planning to actually swap in the 3UZ.

Here in Australia you'd probably get around $9000, most of them with that mileage (km wise).

the price of gas is your problem. 20 gallon tank=75 liters. a fill up is going to cost about 160 bucks. if gas were that expensive here then all of our gs's would be worthless. I couldnt imagine paying 160 bucks for 400 miles. omg. Dude take it to a military base and try and sell it there, to am american that can get gas on base or with coupons.

Wow, for 3k that would be sold stat anywhere in north america. Very clean.

Surprised you haven't sold yet, someone would just get an LPG conversion to offset the cost of gasoline over there.

the 430 badge on a 300 car made the value drop $20,000. That being said you must pay us to have your car.

Seriously though ditch that. its like putting Vtec on our cars... theres nothing wrong with having GS300 badge on a GS300 car.

as for value in the states... a standard GS300 will go for $5000-8000. depending on the year, options, color etc. For the 01+ GS300s itll go for more obviously.

Dont know if i can sell that here easily though since we would have to pay for shipping/importing fees along with registration for RHD car. dont know much about that one though
