Default 4100k or 6000k.HELP!!!!!

I am ordering them tommorow from the site you gave me. Now the only thing which temp should I get. I am looking for the OEM look a bluish look. So I am thinking 4100k but then people are telling me there going to look amber and I don't want that. Now 6000k I hear look purple. I don't want them to look aftermarket you know. What would you guys suggest. If I am trying to obtain the OEM look. How bright purple are the 6000k? How amber are the 41000K? I have the yellow fog lamps so I want people to think there OEM which would you go with. Also does the ballast come with a harness that they sit in???

well go to information and then DIY, read my installation and see the light for yourself. imho the 6000k will give you both blue and purple look, and more blue than purple imho. the 4100k is kinda yellow to my eyes.

Yellow to his eyes because he's used to his 6000K... And the same with me, they look yellow... But they really aren't... If you want the OEM look then go with the 4000 series, they will be blue when they are cold and then when they warm up they will be less blue, but still blue/white..

I use 4200K bulbs and they look white with a slight bluish tint, not amber or yellow like regular OEM bulbs.

Hope this helps

Ed

I just bought the 4100k and its the same as my Factory one but it does look a little more yellower than my OEM but all the numbers are the same as OEM I think they need to burn awhile than it should match! At least thats what the dealer told me

If you buy a 6000K setup can you decide to try 4100K bulbs or do u need all new stuff...How much do bulbs run? Does anyone have any pics of what the autolamps kit looked like?

You wounldn't need all new stuff.. All you have to is replace the bulbs, and they are a few hundred... But I'm sure if you buy the 6000K and then want to switch to the 4100K maybe someone will do a trade with you...

Let me ask you this. If I were to get a car with OEM hids and I parked mine next to it and aimed the lights at a wall. Would my after market light look different against the wall? I have heard that aftermarked HIDs will not have cut lines against a wall like the oem ones do? Is that true?

The reason for that is because the OEM HID's housings are different than non HID's....

4100K is not amber or yellow, it's white.

If you want blue, buy 6000K. If you want OEM, buy 4100K.

Those pictures show the 41000k kit or 6000k kit? ALso your lights look great agaisnt a line but maybe they look so sharp because your housings are projectors. I just don't want them to look like a blurr to oncoming traffic.
