Exclamation Police Radar Detector Advice

So something not so fun has been happening to me. My car has been pulled over 4 times in 2011 only. I think I have to buy a good radar detector to protect myself from now on. I have a hard time deciding. any of you guys have any suggestions? I narrowed down my options to Valentine one and Passport 9500ix? Which one do y'all think is better? I'm open with any brands/types! Many thanks before!

Pulled over 4 times and you still got your driver license?

Detectors help but if you don't slow down it won't matter.

I don't have either but based off of YouTube comparisons, I'd go with the V1.

i've got the V1 & love it. but just remember, it's a radar detector, not a police detector. any radar detector will only help you if they are taking radar/laser. if they are using other forms of measurement like lidar, vascar, etc.....your on your own & that detector isnt going to help you with anything.

Thanks to Parker and ebxgsxr that actually are replying to the question. I'm still debating with the passport 9500ix. Some people likes it better. Also heard about the passport 8500 x50 but the reviews aren't as charming, its cheaper tho.

And to others, if y'all don't have any suggestions about the radar detector, keep whatever u wanna say to urself. I'm not asking any comment about the tickets,, duh,,

Escort Redline will be my next detector. I have a Bel RX 65 and it is really good. Best one I have owned to date. But this is the latest and greatest in distance and sensitivity.

that redline looks impressive. but once you get used to reading the "arrows" of a V1, other detectors just don't compare. but that "13 mile range" is pretty impressive.
