Guys I have an anoying clicking sound coming from my middle two a/c vents. When I press the accelerator pedal it goes click,click,click. I tried to hear it from the outside but i dont hear it. The anoying sound is only heard from the inside. Also after i press the gas pedal a few times it goes away. This sound is coming out with or w/o the a/c. I dont know what to do, by the time I will bring it to the shop the sound will stop and technician wont hear it ,than when Ill leave it will start again .
The sound is bugging the hell out of me, and comes out while in drive or park.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanx

So its directly related to the engine RPMs, right? And its not the AC fan, so it must be the engine. I'd take it in ASAP.

To be honest, I'm not exactly sure what a lifter is, but when I've heard other people talking about clicking, as it is related to RPMs, its been a "sticky lifter". That may be a stretch, but just offering what I know.

Again, its under warranty, so pop into the dealer and let them take a free look.

I think I know what he is talking about. Maybe.

The sound is coming not from the vents above the radio.

It is coming from the Window defroster vents above.
What I did was stuff a match book cover folded a few times at the seem of the defroster vent and the dash the noise stopped.

Try that and let us know if it works.
Took me a year to find that source of that noise.

BkLexZ: oh, OK. Well, they still might take a free look if you ask nicely. Steer clear of the dealer only if you're sure it isn't the engine.
