Question Sighs* again and again the tick tick tick.......boom!?

Alright so i got that damn tick coming from the top of the engine, i bought the car with the tick anyway, i fell in love with the car, so i put some fuel injector in, still ticking, called lexus one guy told me its a 24hr job for a valve adjustment , yea u do the math, another lexus dealer told me 6-7 hours for a valve adjustment, its that dreaded annoying tick tick tick like metal on metal really fast, its not real loud but its very annoying, the engine light never has come on in the 4 months 2500 miles i put on my gs. I read that some people say its the injectors being loud, others say get a valve adjustment, seafoam? Sticky lifter? Idk im scared to use that stuff, a valve adjustment was done at like 70k miles it now has 120k runs like a champion and idles pretty great with an occasional weird needle spike like once every two weeks? Hmm? So i just need some help on what i should do, would the noise dissapear with a v.adj? Should i get it done, or should i leave the tick be unless it gets worse.. I cannot hear it from the cabin.... Car runs very strong.. I use mobil1 full synthetic, oil change didnt help tick.. Anyone experience this with there gs? This engine can go over 200k easy from what i read...
Thanks guys..

it will get worse and eventually blow if it is the valve timing problem. Get it done fast!
I don't understand how it came back after 50k run though.. did you try talking to the first shop that did it?
