Im not Immune to this rule..
Yes, I have those tires on my car as we speak. Not too much to worry about in FL, but in the Rain its a little sketchy.
I have already Hydroplaned, skidded around corners and forget about Winter Use.. I got them about a year ago, not too many miles since dont Daily the car, but they are coming off in the Spring time for some Contis and a new set of wheels.
I got them after reading some review which i thought at the time was OK for the Price, but silly me the rule "You get what you pay for 9 out of 10 times is correct"
I dont mind going cheap on a China Chrome bezel for $15 but when it comes to tires I think is Money Well spent, You will need it when Least expected.
Good luck

K, i'm not about to start a pissing match, but like i said take it FWIW.
I went to a meeting 3hrs later there was a surprise snowfall, and had to drive home. They were fine, my buddy just drove his M3 with these on the rears for a few days... drive slower with them.
I never had the problem you mention with the rain, maybe they changed the compounds since 4yrs ago [very plausible] since mine were good, and yours seem to be ****.
These compared to Maxxis Ma-v1's were 100% better, those were sketchy tires... they would slide around with the slightest rain and my Nankang's were wicked overall.
