I can't speak on how much better the handling is, but I know that they give a bit more of a sportier and stiffer ride. They'd def be your best bet on holding up against your springs.
I looked it up ...that's alotta bread hahaha but I bet its worth it huh? I just dnt wanna spend all that I might as well get coilovers but I think I might get the kyb struts ..
+1 for Bilstein SP. Sporty enough with some lowering springs but not harsh enough to be annoying. If you're looking to dump the car on the ground then you should look at coilovers.

Even if he's not looking to dump, IMHO, it'd be a better investment. Shocks are like what? 400+? Then the springs I know are at least 200. You're already up to 600 and you haven't even had the springs installed to the new struts yet. Shops charge for that also, THEN to install them onto the car they'll prolly charge more. At least another 200, so you're up to $800, which is $100 more than a brand new set of Megan EZ's and 100 less than the LP's. You might as well spend $700 or buy a used set with only a few thousand miles for a little bit less than that and bolt them in. It's seriously such an easy job and if you have someone with you that's done it a few times you can install all four sides within 2-3 hours time. Maybe even less if you guys are able to work on two sides at a time.
Save yourself all the labor cost and extra cost on the spring/strut combo and get yourself some Megan Coilovers. Then you can MAKE SURE you have a even drop and go where you want to, then if you want to go even a 1/4'' lower you can make it happen. Seriously think it over. I remember when I was first getting into the modding game and I said "Oh I want DF's on some struts setup, that's it.", then I talked to a few people that I met and when I told them this they were 100% against it and talked me out of it. I'm now on Megan EZ's and don't regret the decision one bit.
im highly thinking about selling my DFs right now ...how do the EZ's ride?
EZ's ride great. I'm on EZ's right now and I love them. I have no regrets on purchasing them. They slam to the floor and do their job without any trouble.
Best struts = a well built and developed/tested coilover system.
On my previous cars i've always ran either a bilstein coilover system or H&R coil system. I always tell anyone and everyone that if they're going to lower their car its imperative that its done the right way. I mean it might cost a few extra dollars but in the end you're going with a tested and balanced way to lower your car SAFELY.
