Default Anyone have a aftermarket antenna?

So the reception for am/fm really sucks now that I have installed my new double din. This is the radio I installed Pioneer AVIC-Z130BT. Radio is awesome and the antenna connection is tight. Already took the radio out again to make sure the antenna was plugged in tight. So does anyone have a aftermarket antenna they installed? There are a ton of different ones for sale on ebay and I wanted to see if anyone has any experience with one? Don't want to waste $$ trying ones out. The reception wasn't that great with the stock radio anyway but it got much worse with the new radio. Thanks

I have a european GS with the electric aerial. It has got bad reception too. The previous owner had an cell phone antenna placed on the roof. So I am going to delete the electric aerial and replace the roof antenna by an amplified AM/FM/GPS antenna. I hope this will solve my issue.

I recently got the same head unit and have bad reception since. I am wondering if it has something to do with the radio, because I had a Pioneer AVIC-D3 and the reception was great.

If you don't wanna cut holes in the body look at putting an antenna in the rear window, few would ever notice it and you don't risk leaks. Mine already has a hole up top with a plug in it, apparently my car was a "corp car", supposedly a Lexus Exec is what I was told. Records on the car don't show who the owner was, but it was a corp car of some sort.

Unmarked cop cars do this often and no one is the wiser.

Has anyone ever used that? What is the engine-on 12v line from the factory 01-05 harness?
