i noticed that when i make any kind of turn . my steering wheel doesnt seem to return to center or even buldge back to center position on its own like any other car does. i have to manually turn the wheel if not car will continue to turn lol weird .. another thing i noticed is when i step on the brake either hard or slow the wheel tends to **** to the left...
car was aligned . rotors = pads = UCA LCA were all changed
my last resort would be replacing the rack / pinion with new bushings..

If that helps then think about replacing the castor arm bushings if you havent allready as i'm pretty sure thats what made my balljoints go bad.

I have replaced my Ball Joints, Tie Rods, Caster Arms, UCA's, and Sway Bar Links and my wheel still does not return to center. I'm hoping that after I replace the Rack Bushings I will finally have solved the problem. The only other suspension parts besides that in the front that I haven't touched are the LCA #1, the Sway Bar Bushings, and the Inner Tie Rods.

Check the ball-joints for safety of course, but I'm thinking caster-arm bushings. I have new OEM caster arms and poly rack bushings. I notice when it's -20C below out that the car wanders a bit more than in warmer weather. That tells me the caster arm bushing is slow to 'bounce back' in the cold. I believe caster is what makes the car want to return center on its own.
Has anyone else noticed this cold-weather effect?
