Hate my GS right now. It just started making the loudest creaking/rubbing noise when I turn the wheel, and no it's not the LBJ's.

Did you install poly steering rack bushings? If so, grease them. Mine made noise at one point. I also thought it were the LBJs. Greasing the poly bushing made the noise go away.

I had this happened and I was thinking my LBJ's again but looks like my wheel bearings

I did back in August. I'll take a look at them this evening. I'm guessing white lithium grease is the way to go?

I appreciate the feedback. I'll take a look at them.

Now, let's get this thread back on topic. Unlike me, does anyone love their GS?

Thomas, it's better to use silicone grease, it's completely safe for rubber and polyurethane.

It's probably the big bushing on the right-hand side.

Good luck !! Let me know if this solves your problem.

Thomas, I had the same thing happening to my front passenger wheel. It was an AWFUL creaking and rubbing noise whenever I turned the wheel. It was a wheel bearing.

Anyways, I love my car.

Did some poking around, and it turns out that it's a bad LBJ....which I had replaced at the end of October.
