Did you have any symptoms before, or did you just order it because of age?

Damn, two people within a week. I guess I should change mine out. I've noticed the boots are damaged but I don't get any knocking or popping.

as far as symptons.R1.. more the age made me change it .previous owner just re fueled and went.. didnt maintain is very much... but i did have a issue with the steering wheel... which was when i made any kind of turn the wheel wouldnt return itself to center.. i would have to turn it myself if not the car would continue to turn ! hopefully the LBJs was the issue lets see when i replace them both tomorrow

Default Got it done the next day.

When I stumble on the LBJ issue threads in here, I called in sick the very next morning and drove the car to the mechanic waiting for him at 8:30AM. The shop open at 9:00AM. He arrived on time though. I told him to replace the LBJ now. Cash, Check or Credit I really don't care, Just do it. My daughter is riding this car. I have it done at 94K miles. Both the mechanic and the dealer told me the free play is just above the 1/4" of free play. The Westminster Lexus dealer did confirmed the free-play safety range was exceeded. It should be no more than a 1/4" or even less. I haven't done the Tie Rod yet. Should I have it done folks?
