Default +22 on a 19" x 10.5 rear wheel? Tire suggestions? rear fender mods?

Okay, so I'm looking at some rims that are +22 and 10.5 inches in the rear, 19's to be exact.

I'd like to know what tire size to go with; its my 5th set of rims on this car and i'm mainly used to the normal sizes of 235/35 - 265/30 and 245/35 - 275/30.

I've seen some guys running 235 and 255 or 225 and 245.

I would like to run a 265/30 rear and sit somewhat flush.

wondering what fender mods I'd need to do and how I can get this done safely i.e. I know i can shave the rear but I dont want to split the fender?

You should've searched before you posted. There's a whole wheel and tire thread that could answer your question. All you need is a shave. this is my old set up 19 x 10.5 +22 with a 265/30R19 tire in the rear

This thread is right here on this same page

And to answer your question in my other thread no rubbing with a good shave. Here's a different view

Camber has alot to do with it also. Run big camber, run big offsets.

You need to make a decision first which is, do you want the desired rims width and offset to dictate the cars height, camber, stretch, and fender work. Or do you want a specific height, camber, and tire size, using the widest rim and offset that will fit.

Camber varies because it depends on what kind of fender work has been done and how fitted you wanna be
