Good stuff. See you're a brave man for doing the D series turbo build. Sure it runs well though; looks like you have a lot of time into it.

I should have some this season. On my old build on low boost I ran 14.1 spinning 1,2, and half of 3rd gear on street tires. This setup is putting about twice the power as before so I should get alot better times.

Lol yea I like being the underdog of the crew. Everyone I know runs b-series or k-series and I romp on them. I just enjoy the look on peoples faces when I pop the hood and they see that they lost to a 1.5 single cam lol

Well its about time to start putting some work into the gs. It feels like my rear driverside shock is starting to give out. Im gonna be replacing them both but wanna give it a better stance. Was wondering everyones thoughts on should I go with tein s-tech or h-tech springs. Also gonna be doing the brakes soon so im gonna throw some slotted rotors and some nice pads on it. Any1 ever deal with the company called "88rotors"? I know they make good honda stuff but I don't know any1 using them on a lexus.

Coilovers and OEM rotors and pads unless you're going BBK.

Do it right the first time.

^^^ This!!! I just installed tanabe NF210's and I should of just bought coilovers because after buying struts and all I could of had a set of Megans. Plus I want more low!!

If you want to do anything to your brakes look at going with the 4pot LS400 brakes or true BBK!! Slotted rotors are only for looks if thats your thing!

Welcome. It seems like a lot of us came from the Honda scene. I just got back into honda's. I am working on a track car at the moment. I just dropped a gsr in my eg6 and hoping to turdblo in a few months. I am shooting for 300 for now while I sleeve another c1 block and then going for some serious power and maybe a little AWD!!!

Just fyi... Before you mess with any of the suspension... I can't stress this anymore, but please replace the lower ball joints, outer tie rods, and caster bushings. The 2nd gen GS is notorious for these giving out.

Here's a reference of whats to happen if the lbj go out.

Here's the link for diy LBJ.

congrats on purchase and nice hatch from a fellow honda enthusiast.

i was always into hondas and i still am but now im definitely way more into Lexus lol
i have a fully built sleeved b20vtec all motor 12.8:1 compression in my ek hatch and another ek hatch im putting a stock b series for work lol
idk if you considered stance coils but i have them on my gs and LOVE them and they can go way lower than i need it and yet a great ride for being low
and id say go with the ls4 front brake upgrade im about to be doing the same on mine but im lookin at the stoptech rotors

just picked up these bad boys for the gs. im debating on just throwing them on as axle backs or get a custom cat back made. im running this on my turbo hatch and i love the tone of it. anyone have them as a axleback or catback? im curious to know how they sound on a gs.
