for which model 300/4xx? thats the normal price for a new srt intake...

if you have a 300 dont even bother, i doubt itll give u enough ponies to even feel anything but a loud sound.

the 4xx would prob benefit more from it if matched with other exhaust components.

(Advanced Air Flow Computer) - The AAFC wires inline with the factory wiring harness and modifies the Air to Fuel ratio throughout the entire RPM and Load range of the car It has 350 points of adjustment, the result: superior consistent performance gains with crisper throttle response, better fuel economy and no check engine lights.

Typically these type of intakes only give you power at higher rpms at the detriment of low rpms. I noticed that this one (with the computer mod) increases power for the entire rpm range, at least according to their dyno chart. My question is, if you don't do the computer mod is that also the case? I would not want to loose low rpm power, where I drive 95% of the time, just for a small increase in high rpm power.

Over 100k miles on my SRT intake/ECU. It provides real world performance. My buddy has the same car but stock and I pull him every time.

Here is my recommendation, take your time installing the ECU and solder the connections. I installed my SRT box outside the ECU box to keep it cooler. Be absolutely sure you have the MAF gasket seated correctly otherwise you will get major detonation (trick is to install the MAF outside the car on the intake first, face up so the gasket does not slide). Provided the install is correct you will see many years and many miles from the SRT setup.

One more thing, my car has almost 160k miles and it hates oil. That is a testament to the filter.

I have had mine installed for about 2 months now. No problems so far. I could really feel a difference in power after the install. I have the SRT AAFC/CAI, PPE headers, and 2.5" cat back exhaust with muffler delete. Car runs great and STRONG! 1998 GS400.
