I am using a marine grade grease in mine. I want to get mine with Amsoil Series 2000 grease, but couldn't find it at the time. I used the needle to fill it up enough to ooze out and it stopped the squeak. Gives me time to do the joints, got one done, need to do the other.
can you identify the specific types of grease? I've read somewhere that you can not mix certain grease as the chemical reaction may destroy itself and be counter productive...i.e... hasten the failure.
I doubt it, I'm using general purpose grease it's green in color can't remember the brand
I guess you can buy grease at the dealer if you are concerned
