this does suck man. i had this happen to my mr2 and the car was only 2 months out of the bodyshop. happened right in front of my house at 2 in the afternoon. i wish the worst for folks that would do **** like this

Ouch!! Wet sanding may or may not get rid of it. It just depends how much the egg has already eaten into the paint and how much of the paint you're willing to sand off. Even if you did all you can, you're still going to have paint defect due to the egg shell's impact. Paint is chipped off already, but luckily black is easy to touch up. You're just going to have a hell of a time since the chips are so small. It's almost a lose-lose situation unless you repaint the entire car. Repainting that one door will be obvious at night when you shine a flashlight into it.
