so today i remove my complete ABS/Booster/VSC out of my 2003 GS300.

Well, the car apparently has a buzzer and if the booster is not there, it thinks "omg no brakes omg bzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz". constant buzzing when the key is on 2 clicks or on engine-run.

I removed ALL vsc/abs fuses and it still goes bzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz.

I look through all my schematics and low and behold there is a separate buzzer somewhere under the dash. who would have thought

This buzzer is sounded when the electronic booster looses signal or fails. In my case, its no longer in my car because i chose to remove it all. However the buzzer doesn't care, it just wants to be heard.

Here is my question.....Where exactly is this thing? does anyone know? I am sorta crippled right now, broken left elbow and in a cast. So i cant go crawling up in the dash. However if i knew where it was, i could have a friend locate it and simply unplug it.

It certainly sounds like its near the steering column...definitely on the drivers side.

It's right next to the ABS ECU. I believe it's behind the steering column or inside the engine compartment next to the ABS relays.

I don't think that's the buzzer you're hearing. The pic you posted is the chime..I guess you can call it that. Like when you key the car on it does those 5-6 ding ding ding sounds. The VSC buzzer is a higher pitch sound like a deeeee deeeee....yes I know very descriptive lol. Anyways, I believe the VSC buzzer is located inside the TRAC/ABC ECU. I've been digging around under the dash before and that's where the noise seemed to be coming from. I have one of my cars torn down because it's in the midst of a major overhaul. I'll take a pic of where the chime buzzer you posted is as well as the location of the ABC/TRAC ECU. I think if you unplug the ABS/TRAC ecu then the annoying "low brake pressure" warning buzzing will stop.

Awesome! I will take a look monday when i get back to my friends shop.

The part number on that buzzer says VSC buzzer. I found it on ebay trying to see what this thing even looked like.

The door chime is a different part number and as you know does the whole Ding...Ding...Ding and is different.

The noise i have is high pitch constent buzzzzzzzzzing sound.

I will also unplug that abs ecu under the dash.

I will report back Monday.

The ding ding actual comes from the left speakers

under steering column was the buzzer and abs/trac ecu. removed both and now some peace and quiet.
