I go by TARZAN or Knight F Mohawk on most forums (probably 50 lol), but those weren't options for me here.
I finalized everything today. Not this coming weekend, but the next, I am headed on a roadtrip to bring home a 1998 GS400.
I currently daily an 07 335i or a 96 Saturn SC2. The SC2 doesn't cut it, so I'm going bigger and nicer. This will also allow myself andmy g/f to both have a nice ride 24/7. Her SRT-4 is nice but the clutch can be tough in traffic lol.
I've owned Toyotas, but never a Lexus. Looking forward to it I am.

Thanks. The car I'm picking up has an FIPK and a catback. He claims it has a tune "My buddy hooked his computer up and did it, there's not tuner on it though". I'm assuming it's not tuned lol.
I'm trying to research further modifications. It appears as though the Neo is the way to go. I'll probably do that w/ a professional tune. Looking for headers and considering removing the converters, no emissions here.
Is there anything out there to avoid check engine light illumination if the cats are removed or gutted?

He claims that his buddy hooked up a laptop, tuned it, and nothing is required to be left on the car....and he supposedly used AEM.
Am I mistaken in the fact that AEM tuning requires the AEM computer to stay on the car?

Well, we'll see what happens. I really wanted that GS, but the guy flaked. He came up with at least a dozen reasons not to provide proof of ownership to my credit union. I ended up buying a 1991 M5 instead. Great enthusiast car, but not a DD.
I'm talking with a gentleman right now about a trade....My F-150 for his 1992 SC400. I'll report back when a decision comes about.
