I remember having the same problem when I installed my RMM strut tower brace. I think you just have to readjust the length of the brace. I know I even removed the factory spacers that were present prior to the install. I'll take a look at it tomorrow and let you know.

I don't think the RMM STB would clear a GS300's engine cover. In fact I don't think ANY STB would clear a GS300's engine cover. I suggest you remove that thing

Globe, the RMM might clear the engine cover in a 300, because it's thin not bulky and round like the Tom's and TRD STB's... The only other thing I can see if it does clear is maybe it'll sit too high and interfere with the hood closing...

GS3, you can get spacers at your local Toyota/Lexus dealership..

Does the strut bar reach across and "touch" both strut towers, or it it not long enough? I remember I seemed to have some fitting issues.. But it does clear the hood OK... Just barely.

The reason you were having problems with the fit, is because you have to jack the front up off the ground to release the pressure from the struts... I had the same problem but when the frontend was off the ground the bolts shifted and bamm it was in....

Very good point Sypher. Is there any write-ups for DIY installation?

Yes, Manaray did a writeup a while back... There may be a couple of others too.
