Soon replacing differential bushings, what else to do while differential is out?
So I'll be pulling out my differential soon to install the bushings here on my GS400:
and I'll have my differential out the car for a bit, now I'd like to know if there are any othe serviceable items; bushings, or gaskets, or o-rings, even anything internal that I can get replaced while its out.
Would it be possible to drop an LSD in there? lol -- I read a thread yesterday with a poster who bought certain parts and had the parts dropped into his diff (for a GS3) that turned it into an LSD diff.
Anyone with helpful info?

OP, please take a minute to search our forums....if u try something simple like LSD in the advanced search you get 10 pages of info, now i know most wont be what your looking for but take some time and read some then come back and ask if you cant find the info. yes you can do a LSD swap i removed my LSD swap and yes there are a few serviceable (or replaceable) items down there and went back to OEM as i didnt like it on the interstate and for awhile thats where i was driving not to mention the mileage decrease i didnt like either
this should get you started

I did search, most of what I've been reading up on are for the GS300 and the like.
I have a GS400, and I asked if there were any parts I can replace myself and not have to take the diff to a machine shop or diff/driveline shop.
I figured this was a forum for learning? Which is my reasoning for asking.
If you can help me or point me in the direction of a thread where a GS400 diff has been used and an LSD swapped inside, I'd be appreciative. Most of what I read are to find a supra TT torsen and install it. Not what I'm looking to do.

when did i say anything about taking anything to a machine shop or elsewhere? all i said was yes there are serviceable/replaceable bushings on their. i was looking for a schematics on sewells site but im in a time crunch so i didnt get one
this is a forum for learning but this car at its newest model (the 2005) is 7 years old and the oldest model is a 1998 which is 14 years old and their isnt anything (or almost anything) that hasnt been done or discussed on this car that isnt on here if you search
well the gs400 diff will bolt straight up and work just have different gearing, so what is it you are trying to do then....?
