What's wrong with my OEM HID? (PICS)
#16
Update:
So after further inspection, the passenger side is indeed aftermarket. I was able to locate the ballast tucked underneath.
My question now is: what can I do return my light to OEM? Or should I just make both aftermarket? I was planning a retrofit soon, but this changes my plans a little

Guys, instead of getting technical and stuff. Did you make sure that the bulb is properly installed. If its not sitting perfectly in the prongs it will make the bulb (and the light) shoot upward and downward. Do this quick check first. Gl

Are you able to take a picture of the bulb that you currently have installed in your headlights? A picture of the bulb will confirm whether you truly have OEM HID or aftermarket.

It is very clear. The passenger side is a oem halogen housing with a plug and plug and play kit. No matter how you move the bulb in a oem XENON housing, U cannot get it to shine out of the bottom. It is blocked aka a shield installed. So the drivers is oem XENON the passenger is oem HALOGEN.
