anyone running on 15inch subs in their trunk ? im contemplating on going with 12;s or 15;s !!

Dont man..those 15s maybe too much weight on the Spring rates.

I'm running a 12" and its waaay enough turn heads too. Shakes my whole damn car.

Gotta make sure you get a speaker that doesn't need a box or your taking a chance it won't sound good

I got a RE audio 15 inch


I kno the wiring looks messy but it was something i jus threw together and never got around to making it professional looking

get just one dd audio 12" 3500 series woofer, dual voice coil 2ohm, and run a 1000 watt dd audio mono amp on it. Build the box to the specs on the ddaudio website, it will fit on the shelf in the truck and everyone will think that you are running 2 15's. trust me....you will not be disappointed. if you are going to run the re audio make sure it is the xxx, the 13w7's from jl audio are good. in any case you have to make sure the port fires toward the rear of the vehicle and the stock subwoofer is removed. enjoy

I think a box looks good in our cars, provided its custom, or is done cleanly. This is what mine looks like, I've had it in my trunk now almost 4 years and still never get tired of it:







It's not an over-the-top custom job, but it's nice and simple, just the way I like it
