Default GS300 Knock Sensors Locataion (p0325)

My car is giving me a P0325 code and I would like to switch the knock sensors to see if the error changes to the other side. I am just not sure where they are. Can someone let me know an if possible attach a pic. I have searched the forum but only seen where they are on a GS400. Thanks in advance.

(check your oil level) there's 2 sensors they're both on the left side one has a black wire is in front ,the other one has a grey wire.and its toward the back under the manifold..they're bolted on to the engine block...hope this helps..

oil change did not do it. When you say left side do you mean the left when looking at the engine(passager side) or the drivers side? I am still trying to find the sensors.

driver side, directly under the intake manifold. Quicker and easier to go at it from the bottom if you have access to a lift.

Yeah they only have one wire. Pretty common that it just becomes brittle and breaks off from the heat buildup.

Yes you can get just the connector from toyota, but the dealership can't just look up connectors they only show the harnesses. If you take the broke connector off the sensor there should be a part number on it. They can order individual connectors if you provide the part number.

I took the plastic connector out yesterday but there is no number anywhere on it to be found. Is there another way to get this number?

See my replies in your other post about the engine harness, I think you will find what you need there.

^^^^^^ Late and ill prepared

That's a 400 he has a 300... The picture is no good, but your description still applies as on the the 300 they are under the intake manifold as well, it's just that the manifold is in the side of the motor not on top like the 400.

Don't be so hard on urself, and btw you gots a dirty mouth son.
