I'm looking into buying an intake for my 1999 GS400 and I saw a weapon-R secret intake. Has anyone had any experience with this intake? Is it any good?

Do you have to replace the filter quickly? How does it sound?

I had in when i had my gs300. Honestly, if you want an intake that makes a difference get the SRT. If not, just get a dry drop in filter.

I just want a little performance gains with no loss. I really care about the look and sound.

If you're looking for performance gains, i would get the SRT. You're not going to notice much of a difference with the Weapon R other than sound, gains are minimal.

weapon R sucks....buy from a company that has a good reputation not a reputation that is for ricers
Look at the dyno chart...there is a slight power lower for a small time but then good power gain throughout the rest of the band.

it has a great warranty and great customer support...why wouldn't you want to buy it

Did you notice any loss of low-end power?
