But if you don't mind scratches, I would consider the white one(or silver one??) because of the low mileage and black interior

Look around, The Gs is now easily found for low pricing, especially 98-00. I had a 99 400 in my area going for 4k in good shape.
That gs400 is gone by now right? I look into the 400 see what I find and share with you guys.

Here are two 400's I found real fast found one more but I gotta check on it it seems pretty sweet owner keeps saying bring your mechanic in the ad so I'll see about that. I will look for more

Those seem like good deals, why don't you go check them out? If they have been maintained then they should be reliable.

THE white one aint bad looking what shape is the interior in(color)?miles dont scare me and never has ive seen cars with 50,000 miles run like crap and cars with 200,000 purrrrrrr like new all in how the car was maintained go drive that white one and see what shape its in either way you should change ball joints to get started

Yes I will but I found a nice 98', spoke to owner he says he maintained it perfectly and says he put a new motor& tranny in, 97xxx miles on them, 197xxx total on shell and has service records for the past year. And other recent service which is in his ad.

Recently done to car
Lower and upper control arms with ball joints front rear sway bushings links rotors pads alignment oil change royal purple with k&n oil filter full tuneup with denso iridium plugs and denso coil packs

Anyone have any insight into replaced trannys'? Owner says you don't even notice.

I have a 1998 GS 300 with 240 K miles. I would say as most would go for the low miles.If you decide to Follow mait recommendations for especially timing belt,water pump, check wheel bearings (important) change all fluids and filters asap. unless you know history.
