I have a 13.5w something in a custom box. Its made to fit on the rear deck inside the trunk. I had to remove my rear middle seatbelt though.
So wat happens when your riding with 5 people and you re-end someone and you murder your middle passenger because you had to take out your seatbelt for a bigger sub?

Usually dont have rear passengers in the car; and if theres 5, usually they dont wear seatbelts. If they want a seatbelt they can share with the person on their left for right. LOL.
Now that I feel like I'm going to murder someone I'm going to install a rear seatbelt that mounts on the lower part of the seat.

if anyone was to get hurt sitting in the middle you would be liable due to negligence of you removing the seat belt and not giving the option.
Not say it will happen but if it does your screwed.
