Arrow Rim question?

Hello, I was looking into some rims and wanted to go oem 18's and they are both 18x8 in the front and 18x8.5 in the rear, which do you think is better, and in hyper silver or chrome on a crystal white 2gs, I want 18's because of comfort. also what does everyone think of this strut bar, it is only like fifty dollars, do you think it clears the gs300 engine cover? Thanks

Chrome on crystal white, thats my pref though. 18's + thick tire setup..?

That strut bar will work, but might as well get the thicker type for the price; its orange but works for most. It won't help much with body roll though.

Go with the IS stocks in the color posted! I'm not a fan of BIG (fat star shape) five stars wheels...

Oh okay, I was wondering why the strut bar was so inexpensive, i want something functional over cosmetic....slowly but surely modifying my vehicle.

Also, as for the rims, I have the Is350 stock 18's in my possession. I had purchased a set a while back and the guy told me they were 18's, but they were actually 17's, I had purchased them for $150, then sold those and got these 18's for about $425ish... I have been thinking about getting them chromed, but also a friend has the other ones and wants to trade, they are both hyper silver, I think I would prefer chrome on my crystal white gs300, but really have not seen the l-scimitar rims on the gs, in hyper silver or any other color.

Are you looking to lower the car? Doing so will probably make either one look good. My opinion, white doesnt really go with chrome rims. I'll go with the hyper silver finish. My GS is white too and on chrome stock wheels, but I'll definitely go for silver once I get new wheels. Your choice though, however you like it.

By the way, I was born in Fresno. How's the Lexus scene over there?

You're on the right track to go with 18's if you want comfort. Ever considered G35 OEM 18's? I think they look great on GS. And they're fairly cheap if you can find them on craigslist. Here's mine for example:

Hello sir, always nice to meet other Lexus lovers from Fresno, where are you now? I also have in my possession a l-tuned suspension, I am in the process of ordering LBJ's, control arm #2 bushings, Steering rack bushings set, Fuel Filter (sock) w/Clip, Fuel Filter Assembly (2001-2005), O-Ring (fuel pump), just for preventative maintenance.

Thank you for the pictures, I do really like those G35 18's, but I wasn't able to find those, the IS ones were my second choice. Very nice setup though.

If a "GS" strut bar doesn't clear the 2JZ, then it wasn't made for a GS. The 3UZ engine cover is the one that makes strut bar installation difficult/
