Im was approaching 280,000 miles on mine. Then the front main seal starting leaking like a siv and I decided to to the GTE swap. She probably would have went farther if the previous owner had not abused her so much.
1999 GS400 with 110,000 miles still run like new! daily driven.
BTW, previous owner had replaced the following with the extended warranty last year:
ac compressor, power steering pump, brake vacuum booster (master cylinder), radiator, front struts, two radiator fans, engine mounts and transmission mount, right rear passenger side door actuator. Feel like getting a brand new car!!
Hey guys, do I have to replace my lower ball joint if there is no leaks; I talked to a lexus service advisor. he told me to replace lower ball joint only if grease leaks out or boot worn or split. Is this true??

of course I know!! I read all the wheel fell off stories! but my steering is tight & quite, no noise, no leaks, and boot not worn; I notice some members change them around 100k to 125k; i have the OEM wheels. Anyway, I think I'll just change them soon for peace of mine. Thanks for your reply.
