Back on topic to my Lexus... I smoked a deer going roughly 45mph at night. I didnt even see the thing coming, let alone hit the brakes. Sneaky little things huh? I have since installed a new radiator, and will ahve to get a hood before driving it daily again. It also broke the drivers side headlight housing (the mounting tabs are broken). Sweet.

Hey, at least its not a total loss. Must have been a tiny deer... I couldn't even find the thing. I'll be cleaning hair off of the car for days ha. Last pic is proof of life!

Anyone have a suggestion on where I could get a deal on an a/c condenser?... Online they are always around $100... I'd guarantee its the same piece from a parts store. I could drive the car now, but the a/c compressor makes noise (no refridgerant)... Don't want to burn out a $400 pump lol.

Found a deal on one through ebay, $60 shipped ... I'll be rocking a new steel hood for the time being, with a replica grill. Fresh til death...

Tomorrow I should have the newly painted hood installed, as well as the grill I purchased on the forums here, and the ebay AC condenser. Next on the cars menu is a timing belt and water pump change... The pump is leaking now for sure, and its due for a belt anyways. I've found a lot of timing belt kits that dont seem to include the "actuator" or whatever its called exactly. Is that a necessary part to change while you are at it? I'd like to do this without cutting corners. I'll probably piece together my own kit unless I find a crazy deal on ebay. I also need an intake, because a couple vacuum barb fittings broke on the silencer area... Probably going to buy a K&N because the SRT's are hard to find and $$$. The drivers headlight, and fog light both have multiple broken mounting tabs, and cracked housings.

Parts I need:
-Timing belt kit
-Drivers side headlight housing
-Intake
-Drivers fog light

Dropped it off at the body shop, hopefully its back today or tomorrow!

What other parts would you buy with a timing belt kit? The one I'm looking at includes the Timing Belt, Water Pump, all gaskets/o-rings, and both belt pulleys.

Here's how to fix your p.o.s. rusty hood latch.. use jb weld and black primer paint

I am fixing little things like this because I want to race at b.I.r in brainerd, mn this summer still! Hoping for a 14.8 or better its two hours away, and I'd just like to fix the headlight before I race! I'll hold it up for the forum though

Okay, so I'm probably going to install my lowering springs. It will take 1-1.5" of ride height out... Should look good

Second, what is the stock rear gear ratio? What do people do for making the car have limited slip? I have seen a few comments about using Supra TT diff's.

Third, I will be buying plugs for my car very soon. What does everyone use with luck? I remember seeing a few times people using dual electrode tip plugs because thats what factory spec is?...

Any input would be great!
