Next up is plugs and a serpentine belt... Any suggestions on plugs?

I'm looking at NGK Iridiums, and a can of CRC MAF cleaner.

Time to attack my coolant leak and low idle! Got some good plugs, crc maf cleaner, and my upper radiator hose coming tuesday! I noticed a coolant apot and thought #%$*!! Lol. I believe its my upper radiator hose leaking down the front of my LH cam cover, to the ground... Should be a super quick fix

Also have synthetic 75w90 diff fluid. It's just time for that.

If all is well monday, I'll be running it down the 1/4 mile

Glad to see you're having fun with your build because in the end that's what it's all about. Keep up the good work, sir!

Still have that low ****ing idle after thoroughly cleaning the MAF, and changing to some nice plugs... Changing the plugs, cleaning the maf, and changing the diff fluid took about two hours. I'll get it looked over at work tomorrow and see if I can't fix that. I swear it'll stall someday lol.

Gotta love the northern winters...

What's left before I go to the strip this coming Wednesday:

-Change oil
-Install hubcentric rings (My steering wheel shakes at 60 too... Lol)
-Install upper rad hose that's coming Tuesday
-Buy some more trim clips for underhood insulation for freshness

I'm guessing the car will run a 14.6 @ 95/96 the first time out. Other guesses?????

Aaaand we are ready for Brainerd tomorrow! I installed my hubcentric rings in the front wheels and ALL steering wheel shimmy is completely gone. I'll recommend these to anyone that doesn't have them with aftermarket wheels. Changed the oil and cleaned the motor too.

Just wondering, Is the hubcentric rings universal? I am getting the G35, 18" 7 spoke wheels. I am not sure which hubcentric rings to get or order.

Anyone know of "free mods" that can be done to these cars? I'm talking along the lines of doing a throttle vody coolant bypass etc. Just looking for a little more inexpensively

Is there a good throttle body cleaning diy? The sticky is pretty old and doesn't have useful pictures.
